I added Volvo part number and Oetiker sizes for all the Oetiker clamps I've replaced. And some Norma Torro worm clamps because that's what the Volvo part number got me.850oldschool wrote: ↑11 Aug 2022, 13:56 If you find time to post the size and the Volvo part number it would pile your legendary status higher and deeper.
Anyone can reply with more Volvo part numbers and Oetiker clamp sizes and I'll add them to the first post.

This is the kit I ordered last year when I did my PCV system and my power steering line hose. (Might be a bit more than what's needed, but it's always nice to have extras. The case is also excellent for holding any new clamps to keep it topped off.)

That kit has 33.1's which will do the small side of the IAC, but you'll still need to buy a 36.1 for the large side. Also the large hose on the air pump uses a 36.1. Other than that (and CV boots) I think you're totally covered!

42 and 47 for radiator hoses. You need to load clamp on snout, then load hose, then fit clamp over the hose
On edit. I had trouble loading these on a car recently, maybe due to thickness variation in the Volvo new hoses?
I would recommend 44 and 48 mm with new hoses for easier install
Will document

Can you provide Volvo part numbers for the clamps you're referring to? Then I'll add them to the first post. I don't know what is the IAC or air pump, and I assumed the four clamps on the coolant hoses were the same size since they used the same worm clamp.

What other makers call the idle air controller (IAC), Volvo calls a "control slide" PN 9454745. If you look up that part number and then look at the associated diagrams, they depict a part and hose setup which looks quite different. It's poorly documented, maybe somebody smarter than me can find those part numbers. I just took the Oetiker numbers off the ones that were on it.

Does anyone know the printed size range for the following Norma worm gear clamps. For instance, I think 988024 is Norma 16-27. Mine will likely be too rusty to read. These are for a 2000 V70 NA FWD auto.
Coolant reservoir bottom to coolant pipe (non-turbo), oil cooler x4 - 988024
Coolant pipe to HVAC heater core - 988025
Coolant pipe to lower coolant hose - 988030
Also looking for recommendations (manufacturer and part number) for a right angle Oetiker clamp tool and Oetiker clamp removal tool. The right angle tool would help with tight PCV clamps, inner tie rod boot clamps, and others which are hard to reach. I only found one (Lisle?) and it seems quite bulky, hard to get the head in tight spaces.
