Another advantage of knowing exactly what you want (such as "I want 12 gallons" as mentioned above)...

- Sometimes the auto-off feature pops early when you pumped let's say only 8 gallons. Very often ppl think it is full bc the auto-off kicks in, pay and go, only to find out later that you did not pump in what you want.

So by knowing what you want ahead of time, you save all the aggravation...
