Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I installed a center speaker in my dash. I used a 4 channel amp and used the power and ground under the passenger seat for the factory amp option. Put a 30 amp fuse in location 11 on the drivers side fuse panel and got 12v to the connector. I pulled a left and right front RCA out of my Sony head unit and split them to 4. I used 2 channels to power the front L/R door speakers and bridged the other two outputs to the center channel. The rear speakers are still powered by the high level speaker outs of the Sony. I blended the gains on the amp to even out the sound. Sounds great for my purposes. The XC seemed to be lacking in sound especially in the front. I didn’t notice that in the S60 I had.

I started to install front wheel bearing, had to remove control arm tpo get to the 4 bolts holding the bearing carrier to the knuckle.
the old wheel bearing is very rough when spun so it was shot for sure.
Discovered the ball joint is loose and clicky so started to replace that too whilst i'm in there.
One of the bolts holding the ball joint flange snapped off.
i removed the whole knuckle and set it up in the vice, theres barely 1 thread proud of the knuckle, I plan to weld a nut to the threaded portion and see if I can turn it out.
Thats the plan.
