Burnt valve number 4. Beautiful car inside and out. No damage.
162,000 miles. Replaced transmission, struts, tires, brakes, motor mounts, and more.
We love this car and hope someone who knows how to work on Volvos might want it.

I’d be suspicious of what CAUSED the burned valve.

Low octane fuel probably.

Good to know. Can't remember the last time any of the cars got lower than Premium except to try what it felt like. Can feel the difference.

In one of Roberts videos he said you can disconnect the injector and drive it on 4 cylinders. Depending on how bad it is and your driving style one can do so indefinitely.

From the condition I don't believe they are hiding anything especially if they have in the past done all that work.

It's the same amount of work to pull the head regardless the cause. Probably not buying all new valves, nor are there holes in a piston.

Very tidy car, nice color.

Gone already. I would have loved to gat a shot at that car, would gobble it up at $1k.

I drove a P80 about a month on 4 cylinders but it was only in town. Would have driven that XC70 across the country on 4!
