You're right. How did that get in my head that they didn't?
Maybe you were thinking boost gauges? That was only on 850 Turbo/T5/R.

It’s the third time but who’s counting??

You could order the S70 as a wagon by adding the V option

We have quite a few S70 AWD's up here. I have recently been pulling parts from one. Never seen a stick version up here. It is strange as we got the 850 AWD wagon up here and that was only a stick option!??

I like the color of the on posted. Nice looking car too.

I really wish I was able to do the body work on this! Mechanicals I do in my sleep. I left an identical car back in Scotland about 20 years ago (steering on the other side) that I had had bodily restored and painted. It just needed to be re-assembled.

Even the model, color and year are the same!! Arrgh..........!

Yes the owner is honest. He tried reaching out for help with the body work but no takers to help where he lives. He can do all the rest.

The car needs work to the rockers, floor and a few localised areas like the doors and sections behind the rear fenders. It also need work to the 2 out-riggers. I have been there before as mine was close to or probably worse 25 years ago!

I just wish I had the welding skills to do the repairs. My wife made the point I have a MIG welder in the garage, the problem is a buddy was supposed to teach me but has never been able to make time to do that.

In this one case I'd say listen to your wife. Welding with a wire feed MIG welder is very easy. I would say that you could grab a book on how to, but that would just date me. So YouTube for pointers. But really if you just experiment a little with some scraps, you'll gain enough confidence to try areas that you won't ever see, like floor pans. Then before you know it, you'll be a welding madman :D
