99-00 Throttle body quality question

I was at the junkyard a couple of days ago and pulled a yellow label (05 dated) ETM from a 00 S70 AWD.

It was somewhat grubby, but after cleaning it I noticed a few areas of poor casting even inside the throttle plate area.There are a couple of tiny pin holes and an indent where the gasket sits. I have a couple of others, so I plan to compare them as I don't recall seeing this on any others over the years. I don't think it would necessarily affect the operation of the ETM but was surprised to see the casting flaws. I will try to photograph and post them if I can make them clear enough.

I am pondering though about returning it. It cost about $35 US but I also have no way of testing it.

Observations?

Now the raised irregularities I can easily smooth off so I may keep it in the stash, but may also return it as I have no way of testing it.

Should have added the gasket will clean up those casting marks
