Looks like the user 850forum is the only person in on the Skandix group buy. Thus, no savings by sharing shipping with multiple people. I'll PM them and we'll go from there.

Let's remove this thread from the pinned list. We can try it again some time if there's interest.

I am looking for anyone planning another Skandix group buy. I need the right side chrome (plastic) eyebrow for the Skandix Euro glass headlamp kit. The part is less than $20 and they want $150 to ship it. Ugh!

I could buy the part for you and send it to you by mail, depending of size. Btw, if someone needs parts (preferences small ones...), and if it is interesting for the buyer it including shippment, you may ask.

Thanks, that's a great offer. What shipping companies could we use to calculate shipping cost from you?

You may see UPS. In France, the french Post Office worldwide "name CHRONOPOST" does function also rather well. Everything depends on what you want to send. More it's heavy...
How could we proceed, for Skandix for example :
- choose the part and send me the reference - i check the shipping cost,
- if okay, send the money by paypal or IBAN,
- i buy the part and check the shipping,
- the buyer completes the shipping billing
- i send the part.

I'm an honest guy. I'm not here to make money and the service I provide is free, as it would only be a re-mailing.
To avoid any problem, the final price will be increased by the postage for a letter because the parcel and the original invoice will be sent separately so that I won't be accused of exporting illegally. I am only sending a package to an US or a Canadian address.

So, if it's ok with you, it's ok with me.

I am planning to buy a couple of the parking brake shoe repair brackets for our son's 06 XC70. Shipping to Canada is 55 Euro if I recall verses the 125 Euro to the US. Like Manovlov, I will happily place and order and ship down to the US as it is cheaper than getting stuff from the US to Canada!!
