I guess I assumed that no one was interested in the back seat so I didn’t add that pic yesterday. So here it is… turn your head to view.

I'm planning to visit this car in the beginning of September to get these seats. DonnVa gave me the good advice to pay the junkyard to pull the parts for me and hold them so nobody else takes them. I'm really hoping that they're still there when I finally call them for this service.
If anyone in NJ or New England needs any other parts from this car, let me know and I'll try to pull them and get them to you. I'm interested in the heated seat components, center console wood, glove box wood, steering wheel clock spring, and maybe the steering wheel and other interior parts in good condition. A belly pan / air dam would really make my day!

What are the chances that these seats are still available and in perfect shape after a month in the public junkyard? I can't get the yard to pull them for me or confirm they're still there. It would cost me half a day and $100 for AirBnB and tolls to take the chance on them. High risk, high reward.

Hi,
The car is still there according to their website. I would go by and check on them, but my company has me in NC all week.

I got both lovely front seats, seat heat buttons and circuit breakers, a belly pan (removed, in the trunk), and a box of other needed parts. Huge thanks to DonnVa for the tip and helping me get these
With only 130k miles, this 2000 XC70 is quite nice. It has mint condition rear seats with integrated boosters and fabric dog grates, a third seat (no base), and trunk cargo nets which I've never seen. abscate reviewed some pics of the rear axles and said they're worth pulling. The car is on its wheels (except rear right) so the drivetrain isn't in the mud. The engine bay looked good too in case you need turbo components.
The junkyard was quite nice too. Employees drove around in trucks offering to haul parts back to the entrance and give you a ride, also offering $1 cold water bottles. Ths cars are not stacked and there's an acceptable amount of space between them. The yard is huge but organized in numbered rows and this car was right where it should have been. At check out, I showed them all of my parts and they only charged me for the most significant ones. An overall good experience.
If you need nice, interesting interior parts or XC70 driveline components, come here with a jack and stands after a bunch of dry weather and make a day of stripping this car.

Those look like Nivomats in one picture. Are they worth taking?
The car was maintained, such as having a new VVT solenoid, new coolant tank, and some new coils (which I took). Maybe some of the suspension and other AWD parts are new. Aren't the rear dust shields and calipers hard to find (and hard to remove)?
I am tempted to go back and take the rear seats and third seat. Hopefully the car is still there in mid November when that would be possible. I could bring jack stands but don't have a portable jack to lift it.

The NIVOs for sure, and the trick to getting the calipers off - if you don't care about the carcass - is to simply cut the brake line ( smash it shut to keep it from drooling .)
When removing the NIVOs, take the top mount plate complete.
The backing plate is Unobtainium as mentioned by Neil and Steve.
I wonder if Donn can be prevailed upon to harvest the rare bits until you can return ?
You folks are in better shape than am I; in all of DE there seems to be a grand total of three Volvos in nearby yards, not PnP, and parts priced out of touch with reality.
