2005 S60 R position lights simply not working

Post by HelpPositionlights »

As title says they, don't work on either side. I got the right bulbs and brand new (checked with owners manual). There's nothing wrong with cables or the spot that I can see. Only thing I remember regarding this is that they wouldn't turn off as I turned off the car. Any clue or direction on how to solve?

Only thing I remember regarding this is that they wouldn't turn off as I turned off the car. This happened occasionally a few months before they stopped working completly.

on mine they stay on if the switch is in the middle position, if the headlight switch is on they turn off with the ignition.
your bulbs might be burned out now.

I suspect it might that the switch doesn't control them anymore hence they were first always on and now they're not turning on at all. I just changed the bulb so it cant that they're burned out.

I just don't know how to verify this.
