V60 D6 electric drive defect?

Hello all,



when I started in "pure mode" this morning, only a mechanical whirring could be heard from the direction of the electric motor.

You could also hear the motor increasing speed, but no power was transmitted until the diesel motor took over, along with a hybrid system error message ("Pure not available due to termporary hybrid system limitations...").



Since then, the error occurs every time the electric motor is to be used, even in hybrid mode.

It sounds like the teeth of the gear integrated to the electric motor are not meshing (sounds grinding).



Has anyone had similar problems, or heard of a similar case and know advice?

Unfortunately I can’t be of much help here. But YOU are helping ME realize how much the world is technologically leaving me behind.

Maybe MVS needs another forum added for “Alternate Fuel” issues.
