P80 Nivomat question on upper rubber seats

I pulled a set of Nivomats from the junkyard this week with the green stripe. I was cleaning them up readying for painting and then fitting new boots now I have some. What I have never seen before is the lower of the 2 rubber seats that sits on top of the shock, but under the top mount area is glued in place! As I have never owned 'new' Nivomats, can anyone confirm this is how they are supplied when new? Makes me think I should maybe glue the other one back on after painting?

Bump? No one ever fitted new Nivomats themselves and found the lower seat at the top glued in place?

I will check my spare nivomats that i bought 2 years ago.
But...i don't recall that they have those rubber seats on them.

That may be the case. Volvo sells them separately for a stupid amount each! I should clarify this is for an AWD P80 rear Nivomat:

There is a lower mount and an upper mount. Lower one is the one in my picture part # 9157321 and the upper one which mounts above the rear sub-frame part number: 9157320 which is now NLA. Thanks Volvo for half a job!

The one that is still available is with tax around $100 CDN.

The one that is stuck to the top of my shock is really stuck there! I have not been able to remove it. Perhaps part of the install process was to glue it on first? I will now have to see if Vida has the info, but I think that the install was missing the last tieme I looked. Just like many others seem to be becoming now.
