2001 V70T5 sprucing up my driving lights

I have the sort of Oval type driving lights - the glass lenses are pretty frosted from wear, and I recently caught a rock with one, which cracked the lens. I have been watching the local parts yard for months, hoping for a good pair to come through, but no luck.
I know I could try to polish them, but that's a but of work. I am looking for replacement lenses - maybe plastic? OTOH the driving lights are fairly plentiful - would it be possible to swap to those? I could get those 9 element LED driving lights, but I have to think about the oncoming driver..
