$900 for factory part? Why can’t a local muffler guy fab something up?

In the p80 forum there is a great link to a Utah firm making pre fabbed flanges. Weld or band clamp them in. Ezpz

Got the battery light in my S60 today. Looks like I’m replacing the alternator soon. It went off when I restarted the car.

plan is to use the rebuilt ear to mount the nut and bolt, then weld the nut in place

I don’t know why abscate keeps telling us to replace pinch bolts. I think it’s fake news, hogwash….. :wink: :wink:

Those will hold on your struts and brake caliper guides just fine…. :shock: :shock: :shock:
