was the first redblock in the 240 available with a carburetor? does it fit the NA 2.3 in the 740? do the m46 and m56 both work on the 2.3? how might I pump out 250-400hp and still keep mgp at minimum of 20city/30hwy+ and 0-60mph of <6sec? I know the 1990 745 NA is rated at 114hp/136tq with 19city/26hwy. How might I customize it to pump out that 250-400hp? Has anyone retrofitted any 6 speed manual to a redblock? Would this engine require 91 octane or could I get away with 87/89? if anyone has done a non-turbo build and/or knows someone that has tried a 6sp, please let me know. post links to topics that are related. also what's the seat compatibility between the 240, 740, and 940?

Noone at all knows these things? Hello abscate! Long time no talk. Cute selfie of you and doge (childish 2016 meme term for doggie or dog). Not kidding, the Honda 366 (03 accord v6 6sp manual) is my lone driver. Wishing for a 240 wagon or 740 wagon. Bought 240 hitch from lkq for like $18 I think. Considering selling that to move up to the 740 for more comfort/luxury.

I’m no expert on tunes and boost but that doesn’t sound too feasible…

I can answer some of these questions.
Yes, some red blocks had carbs - maybe only Canada and Europe.
I have read general articles of red block making 400 HP with Turbo and excessive fuel to prevent detonation. Not fuel miser, but lots of HP.
A 6 speed Tremec trans could probably be installed with mating adapter and $$$. With lots of HP you would need a good transmission.
It is hard to have decent mileage and 3-400 HP.
