interior lights not working

Hello

the interior lights both front are not working. not on door open not on pressing the on buttons on them. however the lights at the foot area turn on when the doors open.
i checked the bulbs they are all fine . the only thing that recently happened in the car was a battery change after it the lights stopped turning on. checked the fuses no fuse problem.

any idea how to fix this or what the problem maybe? volvo s80 2011 Turbo..
