Check engine light is on, code P0133 which is an oxygen sensor.
Are there more than one, and does this tell me which one? I'll search and see if I can figure it out.
Edit: Okay read that this is the front one, next wondering if it is difficult to remove.
Odd thing, I looked at it a month ago but couldn't find my scan tool, and it was loud from the exhaust,
slightly loud, but now it seems to be back to normal on loudness.
Tried clearing the code, I'm sure it will come back.

An exhaust leak can throw a code, something about making the O2 senor unhappy with the flow rate.PeteB wrote: ↑15 Oct 2022, 09:59 Check engine light is on, code P0133 which is an oxygen sensor.

If the sensor has never been out before, you will need penetrant of your choice - WD is not the best - a little well-directed heat, and a specialty socket; the cable makes using a conventional socket problematic. Also, patience.

When I did mine, it took me longer to get the wire routed and plugged back in, than actually changing the sensor. The sensor came out with no more "trouble" than the spark plug in my push mower. My car has seen very little snow/salt, However. When I did the o2 sensor in my truck, It was hard coming out, and I had to run a tap into the threads to clean them up. The truck has always been in salt, and has triple the miles of the 850.
How's the exhaust look? My car smoked if you looked closely, and black soot was accumulating. The mileage also took a dive. The code would not reset after I cleared it. Looking at live data showed that the voltage was always super low, sending a false lean signal, which the computer tried fixing by providing more fuel.

Yes the rear O2 sensor is behind the cat. Lots of pics here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=45547
Any O2 sensor code start by addressing exhaust leaks. Exhaust leak means an incorrect composition of the exhaust gases relative to what's actually coming out of the combustion chambers, so the reading may be accurate but the ECU thinks there is a problem, and adjusts fuel a la 454's post.
If you end up replacing, get Bosch direct fit only. No Bosch universal, no other brands. Consider replacing them both if it's been forever, depending on plans for the car. ECU compares front and rear readings.
