Something very odd happened lastnight during testing, I had it all connected up with the alternative wires , but tiredness prevailed, and I didn't switch on the power supply. But the cem cracker was working away as if it was on and reckoned it was working through the cem.

Look at the schematic. The transceivers are connected to the USB 5V. It powering off the USB. You don't need an external power supply for just CAN Bus. K-Line would be a different story but the CEM-B is still uncrackable and we found a way around the K-line if anybody does ever come up with a crack that works on the CEM-B.oscilloscope wrote: ↑22 Oct 2022, 23:56 But the cem cracker was working away as if it was on and reckoned it was working through the cem.

Do you mean via an open source obdii reader where the k-line source code is freely available?RickHaleParker wrote: ↑23 Oct 2022, 06:07Look at the schematic. Yep ... 1998 - 2004 P2. I could not come with a official name for it so I named it CEM-Brick.
