Yo !

I continue the job.

@Neil :i don't know if you remember last year, i said i have lost a torx socket. I've fond it today, behind the alternator, glued with oil on the bracket...

Comments :
- I have to replace the injectors seals. They are not hard, rather soft, but they don't inspire me... But for now, i will inspect and clean them until i will get new ones.
- A lot of oil is gone by the upper PCV hole on the block (which, of course has leak on the gearbox pan)
- i will wait until the engine will be out to clean all that. This engine seems to be "out of barn"... :)
- I've broken the hose from the PCV to the nipple. I will replace it with a strong hydraulic hose for for construction machinery cylinders high pressure. It will help to go across winter. I will see in spring. Do you think it's okay ? There is normally non pressure in this hose and it doesn't get to much warm.

What's your mind ?

Looks fairly tidy compared to some of the rusty cars we see on here.

Can you get the pre-curved factory hose instead of bending a different type?
Be careful of that little plastic vacuum tree in photo IMG_3818. It's brittle, easy to break off. I replaced mine and it was only 8 or 10 dollars, but that was long ago and I don't know if they still stock them (?).
The injector kit looks like 25 Euros for all 6? Not 25 each. Is there a name brand other than "Joint Injection Essence?"

The kit looks ok. Be careful when you remove the injectors as they also have what I call a dust seal ring which goes around the body of the injector. You can see the black ring in your picture. They are hard to find new so don't lose them. Your injector also does not look like it has the 'pintle' ring on the lowest part. You can see the plastic 'cap' on the kit picture.

To remove the filter in the top of the injector use a metal self threading screw. It needs to be just large enough to get a grip on the inside of the filter and then pull the filter out with pliers by the screw.

In the pictures of your rear brakes, in one of the pictures it looked like the dust plate had a crack at the bottom of it (16th picture from the top) where you show the bottom 'rest' for the parking brake shoes. It may just be the picture but not sure.

Car does not look too bad. Like BlackBart says, I have definitely seen a lot worse!

Good luck!

Neil.

@BlackBart,
The hose is not "hard", it's a soft heavy one.

Yo !

Little journey today : the intake manifold gasket was a wrong one. I've ordered a gasket intake manifold, and didn't control the order reply from Skandix before the shipment. Well...

But. I received my seals and was at my Volvo dealer for some injectors seals (the blue ones on the top - Fuel Injector Seal. SEALING RING ).
