It's getting clearer I think. I noticed on the FCP site, the brake clips they sell have a couple of little (rubber?) bumper things on the wire, probably touches the pad. The clips Ive got on there currently do not. I bet that's the whole problem. Gonna order a couple of those tomorrow from FCP. Yeah

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

Yup, the front spring clips do have two rubber bumpers on them. They are also shallower so they pull the pads in tight. The ones in my video are the same as the ones on the rear of the car, but the PO didn’t swap them around. He had a full set of rear clips on the car.

RATTLE SOLVED! I replaced the (incorrect) front caliper spring clips with OEM clips from FCP with the little rubber things. No More Rattle! Dave
