I’m wondering if anyone can offer suggestions?
Parts changed to date:
New Battery
New Reman. Bosch Starter (OEM replacement)
New Ignition Switch (OEM)
PnP switch (last year related to another issue) (OEM) and has worked great.
To complicate things, the car has an aftermarket (Viper) remote start that I would love to rip out but that’s after this issue is sorted.
All of sudden in late August I’m getting a no crank, no start condition on my 2000 Volvo V40 wagon. I can hear one loud click when I turn the key to start. I had another person start the car with my finger on the starter motor relay (immobilizer) in the engine bay and I can feel it click. I have battery power going to one side starter (12v constant) and confirmed this with a multi-meter. I removed the starter motor relay as a test and no click from under the hood. Once I put it back in I can hear a click. I even tested the relay with a relay tester and heard it click and it checked out good.
All positive and negative battery connections are secure and do not show any signs of corrosion.
I check the fuse with the Viper Alarm and it’s not blown. No Check engine light.
Thoughts?
Bad new battery?
I’m close to having this towed but since the weather is still nice for late October/November I want see what else I can do.
P.S. I took a video of the one click noise if that will help.
EDIT: When the key is in position II or III, I can hear the fuel pump, so I don't think it's a fuel issue.

Just another thought - all battery connections are good and tight. I will double check the negative battery cable to make sure I'm getting a good ground, and clean it off with sandpaper.
