The intake manifold gasket is available by Volvo but with 2 weeks. Send directly from Sweden... Even though mechanic teaches me to be patient, i don't want to wait so long. Ordered on a french website, will get it Wednesday next week...

I've found the hose from the PCV at the junkyard. Will get it next friday. 29 $ from a 850 with 111 000 miles.

The only point of this part is to keep people from getting to the ECU (warranty reason, thieves, insurance...)

Wow, never seen that bar on the ECU/TCU cover. Maybe it is a EU thing?

Actually, not sure if it's an OEM part...

Could be, I've seen it on a few cars here. Mine had already been messed with so it didnt have it.

I've parted out a 940 where you also had to destroy the bracket security rivets to unplug it from the car.

Maybe it was an emissions control to stop the ECU's being removed and modified? Strange though.

Considering the shape of the thing, I think it's more of a DIY, the fold of the hoop doesn't really match the fold of the lid.
