Having a tolerant wife is also a bonus!

And Rick, yes the new garage is insulated, R28 in walls and R40 in ceiling. Old garage is heated via the house furnace. Technically not legal but had to give the additional furnace in the house somewhere to blow as they had fitted way too big a furnace. 45k BTU for 2 rooms! Sounded like a plane taking off. Now added the outlet into the garage below and it reduces back pressure and furnace sounds happier.

Bad day for the Kat

Went to board the ferry and something let go in the fuel system above the tank

Had to flat bed to indie as I’m 150 miles from garage

This reads like it did not dump fuel on the ferry. Which might cause lots of excitement.

3rd time is a charm for the battery warranty at Walmart. The car didn't click this morning. Although it was our first cool morning already had a couple slow starts and the battery was slow to recharge. The 00 S70 SE Base came with a Walmart 3 Year battery, sticker date of 02/21. Online indicated I could pick up later in the day but I couldn't make it those times suggested so decided just go and pick it up. First two didn't have it then decided to try a 3rd.

Have installed it already. Hope it'll start right up this morning and there is no parasitic drain.

If you have a lot of short journeys, you may want to consider a trickle charger like abscate has done for his daughters car. If a lot of short runs are done, battery does not have the opportunity to recharge fully between runs and will slowly kill the battery cells.

I found recently my fairly new battery was cranking slowly on 10F mornings. Then I realized my wife drives it a mile and a half to work and shuts it off. Same coming home. So it needs more charging. We’re going to have zero F later this week, yuk.
