Low Power Mode..Does it eventually clear on its own?

Post by AylmerQc »

I've owned and been working on my 2007 XC70 for 3 months now and have come across a number of issues, including replacing a bad battery but now with the new battery in place, I'm getting a Safe Power Mode. (I'm editing here but couldn't change the title of the post)

I'm guessing this has come about from the fact that the car is up on jacks and I haven't started it for some time but I can't recall getting this message with the old battery.
I've had a battery minder hooked up to the battery and even a regular battery charger, and with a voltage of 12.60 volts, this message isn't going away...
Any and all help is appreciated...

compare batt voltage at the battery posts to the voltage in the engine bay.
