Parts search!

Post by alpha318 »

Hello all!

I have a 1998 Volvo V70 XC, chassis#505073.

I need the hose between the MAF sensor, and the turbo is torn.

Does anyone have one laying around doing nothing?
Bonus points if anyone has the upgraded IPD silicone hose.
I'd like to make a deal if I could.

Otherwise, to anyone reading this, please have an amazing Thanksgiving!
Those who say, "Money can't buy happiness", obviously never bought a turbo charged car, or paid a pet adoption fee!

Not sure if mine would be of use to you... it's got a couple broken plastic fittings and cracks, plus it's for a '97 855 GLT. Luckily I spotted the damage a few years ago and the original replacement was still available from Volvo and included a new PTC valve. Volvo has discontinued lots of parts for these cars.
Your best bet may be a local junkyard, asking RoberyDIY to get one for you, or checking at ErieVoVo or similar.
1997 855 GLT (Light Pressure Turbo) still going strong. Previous: 1986 240 GL rusted out in '06, 1985 Saab 900T rusted out in '95, 1975 Saab 99 rusted out in '95, 1973 Saab 99 rusted out in '94

Do you have a part number for it? I may have one I can part with but there are a few part numbers out there.

I have 3 x 9186200 and one that may be from an 850 - 9445351

They may not be 100% perfect but they are usable or I won't have kept them. I think one may be missing a little piece past the clamping area at the turbo end.
