Fuelie with steelies !
That was a car light-years ahead of its time.
Rochester fuel injection was available as special order on any V8 chevy back then, even Pontiac made a few. I saw a Safari wagon with FI in the parking lot of the last National Street Rod show I went to in Timmonium MD in my '32 Ford pickup. The guy had the build sheet and window sticker; it was a well-preserved driver, only twenty-odd years old at that point.

Speaking of steelies !
Went to give an old friend a hand with an electrical gremlin at his shop yesterday.
He has several lifetime achievement projects being juggled at the moment.

Thought I'd share my new car, now that I no longer own a Volvo.

Also that's not the paint peeling off, it's some kind of rubber coating that's flaking off. I'd like to take it off without hurting the paint, if anyone has any suggestions on how to get it off other than picking it off a little piece at a time.

Well sorry to hear that you are " presently " without a Volvo :)
Does that new one have a 5.0 ? And could the weird peeling be an old wrap ?
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

It is an old wrap, but it won't peel off in one piece or even in big pieces.

No 5.0, just a 3.8. My last Mustang had an LS swap, fully built TH350 with a high speed stall converter, full spool in the built 8.8 rear end, coilovers on all 4 corners, and dual 3" exhaust that dumped under the rear seat. Loud, mean, fast, and borderline fun/scary to drive.

I think it's hidden in the "What did you do to your P2 today" thread, but, yeah, I did sell the S60. I didn't want to keep dumping money into it anymore, and trying to tackle some of the things that needed replaced is just too much for me to do anymore.

I do have all new suspension parts still in their boxes I need to list up for sale, and some other odds and ends. My original plan was to sell everything together, but as the price dropped I removed the extra parts from the ad. I figured I'd be able to get a little more out of what I put into it that way.

I hated to see it go, but I just couldn't afford to keep it anymore. I still plan on sticking around here, and to continue being a mod for the FB page, if that's ok.
