What M4.4 ECU do you have?
'97 854 T5 - Manual Swap/M4.4/COP/NA cams/P2R Brakes/16T/ chassis bracing/ XC70 nose swap
'97 855 GLT - Hers. RN swap/16T/COP/VVT/exhaust/302s/Flashed M4.4/ chassis bracing/ 2 kid seats

From what I can tell the -609 is an LPT auto ECU. (I think I do have a bin and xdf file for a -609 ECU available, but unlike the VS 607/608 bins, the immobilizer isn't disabled.)

Hello,

I had been meaning to do this a while ago and left it, i remember there being lots of everything availbe on M44 Wiki but nothing is availble now and the Volvospeed stuff is all dead.

I've actually build a docking station for my ecu and it's all a bit confusing setting up the ecu's from the desciptions on M44, seems a bit to vague.

Matthew do you have access to all the files still as i have a few varing Motronic T5's i want to work on, i would appreciate a link to somewhere that still works?

Although this is a new account i have been a member on here for years but cannot remember my original user name, so feel free to contact me if needs be please?

Sorry, just read the whole thread, i manged to get all the original bin files and a bit more info on some stuff, am i right in thinking the 607 and 608 rev5 bins are immo off?

Because my first task is i have a C70 T5 auto with the fob lost off the key and rather than pay Volvo £250 i want to flash a standard immo off to this and see if it starts okay lol?

Is there any good resources to learn TunerPro out there, i have used lots of other things but struggling a wee bit with the flasher plugin for some reason?

Hi-
In theory the 607 rev5 bin should have the immobilizer removed and should work for what you're trying to do. I'm in the US, so I never had to deal with those on any of our cars.

When I did my first dive into this stuff I used the info from the M4.4 Wiki to set my stuff up and flash through TunerPro. What problems are you having?

I probably have all of the rev5 files but it looks like the basic .bin, .xdf,. adx files are on the files page of the wiki still.

Thank you Chuck, finally got it working, it was because my flash tool was in my dropbox folder and not desktop and some of the authorisations weren't working.
I say it's working i have it working for 4.4, are the XDF's the same on the 4.4 for the 4.3 for TunerPro?
Or are they a completely new set of information, if so where do you find these?
I have the bin files for all the standard 4.3 and 4.4 now.

The 4.3 XDF is different.

Message me with an email and I can send the 4.3 XDF/ADX over to you. I used them twice to flash the R bin to an M4.3 ECU.

You have to have a different instance of the flasher as well as the default TP CheckSum, as the M4.4 one is different.

This makes total sense now as i just read about the sequence for the 4.3 for an uploader in the boot sequence, i have messaged you so definately appreciate this massively!

I assume there is no way to read flash without a Willems on these ECU's then?

I was meant to be working with ARD as a UK distributor and had my own M44 custom flashed by them with many tuning options using one of their 22T's and many other things water/meth etc but i realised before they disappeared that it was mapped to green injectors and i want to see what was done on the tune and maybe alter, or possibly start again lol!

Did i read that wrong actually do you have the 4.3 flasher?

My rig switches between pins 5 and 36 for the 4.3 and 4.4 Klines respectively, looks like 4.3 does't have a checksum calculation tho, which is handy?
