15 XC60 T5 AC Compressor
15 XC60 T5 AC Compressor
AC Compressor replacement. What is the "easiest" way to remove the compressor? There doesn't appear to be enough room to remove from underneath the vehicle. If it has to be removed from the top, are there any directions or tips available online? I've researched exhaustively and can't find anything on point. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Hi sflorin,
I have the procedure from VIDA attached for you. The AC compressor swap involves a getting few other components like belt, tensioner and alternator out the way, and the proper way to disconnect/reconnect battery, so I have included those procedures as well.
Assuming you are proficient with recovery, pulling vacuum and recharging - I skipped those - however if you need the details please let me know (post or PM).
Hope this helps

Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
