And to stay on topic I put off lca bushings on the xc90 and filled the buggers with windo weld
..
1 more month till I move into my 1st owned house with heated garage n 9ft post lift.
No more gravel dented shoulder blades yaaa..
Then I can finally upgrade that stock clutch in my fairly kind of fast s70...
I will say I'm impressed it's listed max clamping force of 275wtq and didn't budge til near 400wtq...

This thread feels like I'm going to a confessional.
I've needed a new windshield for the past 3 months...
I've had my rear silencer hanging on a piece of coat hanger for 4 and had the replacement bracket for 2 months...

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

Threw the hounds in the car and went out for a run in the mountains, came home and put together a parts list for the coming winter. I'd like to replace the squeaky blower motor but the Volvo one is over $300. Does anyone have any experience with the OEM one that FCP sells for $140 ish? I cannot justify $500 CDN on a heater fan that still mostly works but squeals on speeds 1 and 2. Also put a parts list together for turbo hoses and gaskets and o-rings, etc. I have to R&R my propshaft so I thought it would be a good time to pull the angle gear and give my turbo some love, any advise on what parts to replace while I'm in there that I may have missed?

The Mahle Behr is probably OEM and will work fine , at $140. You don’t have to worry looking for nearby cubs either.Blacklab467 wrote: ↑23 Aug 2023, 19:41 Threw the hounds in the car and went out for a run in the mountains, came home and put together a parts list for the coming winter. I think I would pass on the siren song of PPS at $80
Your labs seem to have shedded their black fur.....or did you try URO lab black?

I'll probably roll the dice and try the Mahle and see if I can restore the original while its out and keep it on the shelf. We've had many labs, mostly in 019 but wound up with these last two in 093 by coincidence.
