Exhaust Manifold removal
So is it easier, or necessary, to remove the turbo first before taking the exhaust manifold off, or can the whole thing be lifted out as a unit ?

I did down pipe first, then removed turbo from manifold.

If you had a RHD, then you just sit back and cry. Drop subframe and remove from below, or drop subframe, remove brake booster, then remove from above. Many tears to be shed.
You lucky LHDrivers will find it easiest to leave turbo in place, on the downpipe, and just remove the mani from above. At least from what I've seen on Wheeler Dealers!

Well I think I ended up removing the turbo first and then the manifold. It gave me a little more room to work.
