Can you post where you got the cable from. Some of them use a knock off chip which may not work or may need a different driver. What volv-FCR are you utilizing? I can check my disk image which is on a spare laptop and transfer it to my current laptop which runs win 11 as a test. Might be able to share the image with you directly.

I got the cable from vast tuning. I am running version 1.3 of vol-fcr. It seems like it should work on windows 10. I have it set to com1

Just a small update for those that have helped so far. I think FCR is running fine on Windows 10 set to Com 1. I think my issue is with the car. With the ignition in position 2, it can’t make coms with the car. It’s not getting a bite or byte back from the car. I’ll keep trying different things.

Not sure which version I have, but it does work for me on Windows 10 with a blue vag com
I'll have to check which port I use

I've run both versions of vol-fcr on windows 10, I've run it on almost every variation of windows between XP and now without any issues or emulators.
