Until all of the crude oil in the world is completely consumed, and there isn't a drop left, I don't see ICE going anywhere. There's just too much money being made off of it, by people with way too much influence on politicians, to see it phased out.

ICE won't be disallowed on roads for decades. No need to worry about that. But there are no new ICE engines, for instance, being developed. Maybe some exotics like Ferrari are the exception.

The 2035 mandates are on passenger vehicles, not on trucks and heavy equipment. ICE and EV will coexist for everyone here
