These change in 1999 to shorter bolts with a non threaded boss, part number to follow

why would these bolts have red thread lock? I have just found them on my bottom timing belt bracket today (s70 98). At least on one of them lol The second bolt would not budge. If anything, blue thread lock should be sufficient. Hopefully I won't need to remove this shield in the future...

The red stuff on Volvo bolts isn’t Loctite red, it’s a mild thread friction activated locking compound. It will come off with hand tools. A bit of heat on bolt maybe? Careful of plastic
