04 xc70: has anyone done an m56 or m66 swap? And what are the extra buttons for?

Had an accident in red v70. Totalled. I will buy back and likely fix and sell. No frame, acc, or engine damage. Strongly considering a blue 04 xc70 with third row seats and booster seats. I take my 'enthusiast' title to the next level by wanting features I will likely never use.

Question 1: Has anyone fitted the m56 and m66 onto the xc70?
Question 2: What equipment normally operates where those three blank switches are (see pic attached)?
Question 3: Should I keep this 98 red v70 (has m56 and NA) once I fix it, sell it to get an 04 xc70, or sell it to get a 96 855 turbo 74k/maint? I would swap the v70 m56 to the 855.

Hey I was looking up manual trans for xc70? I found one that I've never heard of before because it's foreign (a swap topic in canada on volvospeed in 2014). M58 for AWD. Does that mean m56 is incombatible? The m66 for the R AWD is good with the xc70 though right?

I don’t know the P2 transmission series well.

If you go to Volvo manuals online and pull up the manual for the 2004, you can see what those switches and options are available

STCC, two heated seats, heated rear seats, passenger ejector seat
