Hi, I've had some trouble attempting to get this to work today. I searched the web and ended up here a few hours in, I tried downloading the torrent from this thread but it would never start downloading.
After a while I found another thread where you had shared another magnet link:

I wanted to ask if that one is the correct one too? I could not find any scripts to run so I was thinking that maybe I had the wrong ISO?

Anyway I'll attempt a reinstall of the program now and see if I can get it to work this time. I had a few issues the first time.

Edit:
After another test, where I installed the program, hit restart later and installed the patch, then restarted.
I'm met with:
"Please contact your local helpdesk
Could not contact central systems"

Edit 2:
I reinstalled Windows and tried again, this time after patching and restarting it worked! I must have done something wrong the first time.

Hi All,

I went through these directions and all posts multiple times but I am stuck. Reinstalled everything 3 times with the same results.

VIDA loads but I have a blank area under the adapters (not red x, just whitespace). I did run VidaMedia:\Install\Utils\EnableIEHostingxxx.reg . for x64.

Running Win10 64bit. IE Tab loaded in Edge, all other scripts etc seemed to run fine.

My adapter is a JLR Mongoose clone V160 and I have the Drew Technologies drivers loaded. It seems to be fine in the device manager.

Any ideas on what to do to get the adapters to show up?

Edit: Well, I got it working on another laptop running Win7 using the Mongoose V160 clone provided files. I'd still like to get it to run on the WIN10 laptop if anyone has any information on how they successfully installed it.

I am still unable to log on to VIDA. I double checked the patch and it does have the correct date (2099) but there's something else that is preventing me from accessing VIDA from the Log on Screen.Like others, I receive the following message:

Unknown error. Please contact your local help desk Could not contact control systems.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting the situation would be greatly appreciated.

When installing SQL 2008R2, no errors are displayed, but after checking "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 → SQL Server Installation Center → Tools → Installed SQL Server features discovery report" shows that none. Tried several times going back to restore point but still the same. Where to look?

Now SQL is ok (should have tested Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 but not Microsoft SQL Server 2008). But VIDA threw an error during installation. Maybe this happened to someone?

I have VIDA 2014D Win10 installed on 4 computers (2 are VM installations).

Everything works fine including the DiCE connection on one (non-VM) laptop.

But, neither one shows any options for V70 MY2013 or V60 MY2012/2015 "Body Style" in vehicle profile, no matter what I choose in other selections.

The only profile which shows options for "Body Style" is for 850 MY1997.

Anyone has any ideas please?

No need for it. The body style is encoded in the model code. V in V50, V60, V70, V90 is for Versatility which are all five door.

The only profile which shows options for "Body Style" is for 850 MY1997.

The 850 came in two body styles 4 door and 5 door. There is no way to decode,which from the model code.

This problem may occur if a file that the Windows Product Activation (WPA) requires is damaged or missing.

This behavior occurs if one or both of the following conditions are true:

1: A third-party backup utility or an antivirus program interferes with the installation.

2: A file that WPA requires is manually modified.
