Vida/Dice suddenly not working

Came out to do some stuff on the car today and my Vida dice suddenly isn't working. I've checked another obd device and that worked so it seems to be either Vida or dice (tool test reports as ok though) that's buggered, any ideas?
P.s. it's worked fine for years and the computer is fully offline and receives no updates. Car is 2003 V70 T5 and vida/dice is chinese.

Well I'm not sure what did it exactly in the end, tried a different usb port and no joy, then started it up instead of just ignition on and it finally worked, even though I'd tried that before, odd.
