The European market 850s got the 960 steering wheel. I wish they did it that way here in the States too, I much prefer that steering wheel!

Sunday 1/12/23- Before 2:35pm I removed crinkled hood and front end from red v70. Installed silver hood and aggressively adjust metalwork to decently align hood and fenders. After 4pm, I installed donor's ac pressure switch, radiator and ac condenser.

Warning before continuing on this post: the video contains an enthusiastic high-pitched voice that might be offensive to some ears. Listener discretion is advised!  Abscate, see caption of video for more humor.
Yesterday 1/13/23- I reinstalled the hL wiper motors, removed 1 factory horn, then installed a Wolo low tone horn, and both headlights onto the core support. I installed the core assembly on the car. I installed the radiator fan and fan control relay. I connected all wiring harnesses except horns. I rewired the horn wires to accept both an aftermarket and factory horn. This easy-to-swap setup can accept 2 factory OR 2 afm OR 1 factory and 1 afm horn. I installed the turn signals. I installed the original metal bumper. Finally, I ripped the red v70 down west main st and then down east main st. I smiled lots while ripping it across town. I enjoyed it. Thats what I did on Monday.

Mid February, in the driveway, in the rain. An heroic effort. Congratulations; this fix should get you some extra points here.

Now it's it just funny that Volvo thinks the best way to mount the car horns is pointing DOWN at the GROUND ???
No wonder why my horn sounds like a little old Polynesian lady farting.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.
