Greetings!

Seeking advice from the you experts.
In search of a V70 wagon preferably models 2005 and up but unsure which motor to go for.
Either the 2.4T 5 cylinder or the 3.2 V6 Non Turbo. What would you all recommend .
Are both Robust?

Planning on viewing a 2.4 T wagon with 88k miles and asking is 7K USD- Any Advice on what to check and look for?
Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

I love the 2.4/2.5Ts, pull nicely at 80mph on the interstate when you need to pass.

Take a rubber glove to put over the oil fill and check the crankcase is sucking the glove in. If the glove fills plan on PCV replacement of ~$1000 unless you do it yourself. If crankcase has been pressurized a while may see cam seal leaks. Also see if timing belt and water pump have been done, they are due at 100-120k.

08 C702.5T (sold)
05 S402.4i (RIP, timing belt failure)

Thanks, Krons

It was actually a non turbo 2.4 5 cylinder If im not mistaken. Body was kinda rough. Engine responsive. everything worked except for the body and needed an wheel alignment.
Is the turbo the engine to pursue? really prefer a non T and my eyes are on the 3.2 V6. Are they any good- or for the long haul Im better off with the 5 cylinder engines

Thanks again
