Had this issue with a 98 manual climate control system. Solved it by resoldering the pin connectors which restored defrost, AC activation, and other controls.

Figured out i need to adjust my brake switch to restore my cruise control. I had tried what others suggested to pull back on the brake pedal and set the cruise and noted it would not activate or stay activated. Yesterday a held the brake back with my left foot, set the cruise and continue to hold it and voila it went into cruise mode. Will report if its repaired after fixing the switch.

Also got all the foglights and headlights activated and aimed. Had fun plowing through about 15-20 cm's of snow during a snowstorm but it all held together.

Last thing I would say is that PB blaster on the steering knuckle is like black magic. My steering went from near locked up to loose again. Applied it to the steering knuckle located to the right of the exhaust manifold when looking from the front and it significantly loosened up the steering.

This one is ECC. Its changed output on me only once, since I bought it. I can't pull codes on it either since it's a 99 as 850obd2 wont talk to it.

I reinstated the insurance on my red v70. Then I spent about 2 hours working on it. I hooked up a 2nd horn (factory) to the wolo low tone. Sounds better. I installed the factory fuel injector cover and the factory Throttle body cover. I installed the factory AI hose from air box to core support. I rewired the power source for the afm AUX unit because it has slipped out twice. I uninstalled the 99 donor wheel and airbag and reinstalled the 960 wheel and airbag. Horn works! I secured the driver side door card with one of those white door snaps. It's been flapping and it made me mad a couple nights ago; it felt the blunt end of that. Installed the donor's front ashtray, gray handbrake trim piece, and the removable felt cover for the handbrake screw. Then I ripped the car down west main and east main. The engine mounts are noisy.
Might have a big update tomorrow.

Congrats! I think I joined in January 2019. This makes 4 years.
