I can't believe how smooth my 1991 740 Turbo rides again! They were a bargain from FCP Euro through the MVS link. The suspension was already in good condition so no clunky sounds to begin with. She had became bouncy. Now with the replacements installed the car body stays level over bumps like freeway overpasses at speed. The ride feels like being on a magic carpet as no harsh bumps or vibrations make it to the cabin. Really the car drives so right! If you want to feel every bump in a harsh manner go for single tube gas charged, but if you want your 700 to have the ride as Volvo intended the twin tube oil charged Sachs is a excellent choice. Today my friend and I drove the 740 on a 100-mile trip down highway 71. Almost immediately she mentioned the car felt different.
