I am retro-fitting a volvo S40 electric power steering pump to my land rover series 3.
Yesterday I got the pump from ebay, and I noticed that it has 3 connections. Not the high pressure and return as I expected..

I am fairly sure the top connection is the inlet coming from the reservoir.
The screw on port is for the high pressure hose going from the pump to the steering box.
But the bottom connection next to the high pressure hose? What is this.
Being plastic moulded, it is not for any high pressure.
I am not able to find any diagrams or similar.
So if anyone knows what goes where, and how I can attach it to my setup, please let me know
