Tire talk! My Conti's are shot at 26k miles

Reviving this old thread. My C70 came with Conti ExtremeContact DWS06. Still about 5/32 left but decided to throw them on the new to me wheels. I wonder if belts are busted internally as I have a tug at the wheel occasionally, strange as it sometimes it goes away.

So…came across these Continental SureContact RX on clearance for $130 each and pulled the trigger.

A little nervous of road noise with the top down but excited to see how they perform. Still have my truck so these should keep me from needing winter tires as I don’t plan much snow driving.
