k&n filter

if i get a drop in box k&n filter will there be a even slightly noticable difference than the stock filter, and if so is it worth the money?

Slight difference, yes. I use it because it's a money saver over buying new filters.

The sound is fuller/deeper with the K&N too.

When using K&N filters, put the oil on sparingly. I've heard of MAF sensor problems due to overapplication of the K&N oil. Less is more.

You are correct...let me add- only oil the under side of the filter when you re-oil.
