2002 V70 (CD player)

Good day, and Happy Sunday!
Just a simple question for a guy that still has his original audio unit and CD player.
Most of the time now whatever CD I try to play, it will not eject when finished. Just stays stuck inside.
I just bought a Maxell CD cleaner disc thinking it would help but no, that got stuck also. Thank goodness
for needle-nose pliers. Anyway does anyone know why this is happening and if there is a fix?

never turn mine on, even the radio is crap.

Kenwood DDX, Focal ISS/ICU. The best sound in the whole household is in the oldest vehicle.
