overheated because guage doesn't work apparently. died, waited 11/2 hours, went to start it to put more coolant if needed. would not start, spins over fine, sounds like it is trying. ckd all fuses, relays under hood. ckd fuel pressure at rail bleed valve, seems a bit low. could crankshaft sensor cause this ? disconnected battery and multipin connectors up front by air cleaner in hopes of 'rebooting' comp.
i do not know what to do. please help

How low was it on coolant?

I’d start with a quick check of the timing belt to make sure it is intact after overheating. Easy to pull the short part of the cover on the passenger side.

If that is ok, then check codes. A crank or cam sensor should throw a check engine light. This scanner is what I use and works well for $150 to scan and clear codes.
