Manual gearbox swap on S80 t6

Hey everyone

I have just become the owner of a very clean low milage (42k) 03 plate S80 t6 I'm looking into doing some subtle mods to it but I have sourced an S80 2.9 with a blown engine and a manual gearbox in it can I swap these over has anyone had any success doing this that can give me some pointers.

I'm not sure if it will be any harder than the older 1999-00 V/S/C 70's as there was some carry over. The issues will be the removal of the TCU controlling the auto trans. Some re-programming of the ECU will likely be needed to remove the software looking for auto trans inputs.
