I think the s70awd , the Kat will be the first on the block. I’ve got her in decent shape but having moved to a place where AWD isn’t needed I think she will go first

The 1999 NA Nautic blue V70 Shagg has a blown number 3 valve. Still driveable on 4 cylinders. I could sell that as a cheap project car rather than do it myself

If Matilda's revival is unsuccessful I would have a great running motor for Shagg. Plus some other 99' goodies, including a 5-speed shift box.

Once you conquer ME7 the 99s are much more reliable, better driving cars. Now there is a $150 forever fix for the ETM even more so.

Well, it’s 3 years later and here is where I am

3drivers left in house.
Rip Mom 1930-2023

Abby driving Evita 99 s70 185k miles until next big break or accident
Karla is a low mile 100k s70 in perfect Nautic blue. Keeper, Abby back up car
Bmw went to a neighbor, SWMBO got a red xc90
Red VW t4 camper stays..tows boats, camps , hauls big stuff and 7 people

Golf went to family
The Kat went to a needy person on Long Island
Theresa on her way upstate to a new college kid

I have to pick two yo go from

2005 v70 nam56 155k miles
1999 t5 m56 256k miles
2003 new beetle convertible….I think her time has come

That is a tough choice to make. I know what each of those cars means to you in their own ways. That will not be an enviable choice my friend.
