The only oil there is from the cylinder head and top cover gallery flow, which is big job to remove and reseal the cam cover.

Perhaps I'll buy a smoke testing machine. I brought the car to a Volvo specialist and his smoke test said "significant leak at cylinder head, cylinders 1-3". But it doesn't say exactly where it was leaking. I may get more information running the test myself and looking carefully for the leak.
First, I'll pull off the intake and look at the PCV for an obvious failed connection. Trouble is, once I have it apart, I have to fix it because I must drive it home from the Makerspace that night. I have some PCV parts for the T5M on hand, thankfully.

It looks like this car has a major fluid leak around the belt area of the engine. The leak is high enough to wet the exhaust manifold, coolant pipes, and belt cover up quite high. I don't think all of this is from my poorly tightened power steering tank clamps.
Is there any common source of oil leak in the belt area which would also cause cylinder 1 misfire, rough idle, air leak around cylinder 1-3 intake, coolant loss, and a constant chirping sound at idle? Abscate mentioned "cylinder head and top cover gallery flow". Where would I check to confirm that failure?
I plan to smoke test the car, then strip the belt and intake areas to clean oil deposits and look for the leak source. It would be a huge help if I had repair parts on hand for whatever I might find (since I do my work at a public garage and must drive home each night). Thanks for any thoughts.
