Here's a tricky one because the center of the part was carefully cut and left in place leaving this debris behind.
What baffles me is that it appears rust free under the sticker. Solution, prevent rust by covering ALL parts with stickers!

Yes, it's the rear right dust shield outer portion. I cut it from the inner portion to leave on the car. You should have seen the other side. It was basically a spider web of rust.
50 MVS points to abscate.
In 2000, Volvo stopped powder coating their dust shields. The bare metal rusted terribly after 15-20 years. Before 2000, they were powder coated black and held up very well. I just bought a used set of all four dust shields, the rears from a 1994 850, and they have minimal rust. I'll send down the rust and apply POR-15 for protection before installing them.
