VADIS emissions readiness readout?

Post by cove37 »

I've been using Android Torque lite to check certain things on OBDII, such as the emissions readiness page, indicating whether the catalyst/evap/02 self-tests are complete. Problem is I've had two of those cheap bluetooth interfaces die in a row. I have VASIS/Dice though...but cannot find an emissions readiness function. Does anyone know if this exists? Thanks

...Ok, found it under ECM/Advanced/readiness....searched forums for "readiness"...but it's not very specific, only OK or NOT OK.

Yes, then I had the not ok. Did the tank pressure test, passed, then got an ok. I was looking for more specific information from the system, such as just what was not ok...it'd be better to know exactly what's missing so I wouldn't have to guess.

And second one has to be ftom cold car , too. You cannot knock this off with back to back drive cycles. A lot of people have trouble with the overrun part of the test where the car needs a minute of fuel injection turned off while coasting to test the OXS operation.

Yes, drive cycle was successful, passed emissions test. Sorry, not making myself clear, this is a VADIS question...I can only find an OK/NOT OK indication for overall readiness, but not specific indications of readiness. My ODBII reader would list O2 sensor, catalyst, evap, etc and indicate exactly which one was ready or not ready. I was looking to find out if these individual indications were available in VADIS, something other than an overall OK or NOT OK.
