SRS Controller Swap Question: 2002 S60

Searched and didn’t find any info on this. Had a code for an internal fault of my SRS controller, got a replacement via eBay with the same part number connected and everything seems OK except for a configuration fault.

When I search with my scanner, I see this SRS controller is set up for an S80 instead of my S60. Can anyone answer if VIDA can change this configuration? The car goes in for the airbag recall Monday, just wanna verify the dealer can make this work.

My dealership service department is idiots.

I told them on my drop off paperwork to fix the code. They replaced the airbag but I was told I’d have to schedule another appointment to diagnose and fix the SRS code. I left a message and service writer never called me back.

As a dealer that services a brand known for safety they knowingly sent home a car with non-functional airbags. Idiots.
